The Aptos Britannia Arms was established in 1995. Although imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, The Aptos Brit is the original, and still the most authentic, British pub in Northern California.
Nestled in the heart of Aptos Village, where the redwoods meet the sea, the Britannia Arms is about as close to an original old English village pub that you are likely to find on this side of the pond (the Atlantic that is!).
The Britannia Arms is more than just a British pub with a large selection of imported draught and bottled beers and a fully stocked bar. It is also a restaurant and sports bar.
There is full-service indoor and outdoor dining and the menu covers the best of British and American cuisine. The Brit serves lunches and dinners. Breakfast is served at weekends.
As well as eating, you can watch sports of every kind from home and abroad on big-screen satellite TV. The Britannia Arms shows live Soccer from the UK and around the world, as well as all NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, College Football and Basketball.
Other entertainment includes Live Music, Trivia Nights, Karaoke, Darts and Pool. There is also an Internet Jukebox and Video Games. We also now offer our customers free WiFi Internet.
The bar is open seven days a week including holidays. Every weekday has Happy Hour from 2.30 pm to 6.00 pm.
All ages are welcome until 11.00 p.m. After that it's ages 21 and over only (I.D. required).
